Kevin Peacocke, BSc Eng (Min Proc), MIMM, C Eng.

Kevin is a metallurgical engineer with close to 30 years of experience in minerals research, testwork and process development. His particular forté is innovative process development and he loves nothing more than a challenging mineral extraction problem. Kevin's diverse range of skills and broad knowledge of mineral processing enable him to quickly and effectively provide baseline technology evaluation and preliminary solution assessment. Kevin is also an integral member of the planning team of Knelson Gravity Solutions, and through his extensive travel on their behalf he visits process facilities the world over. This provides him with the unique opportunity to gather first-hand information on the latest trends and technology developments in minerals processing, adding further value for our clients.

Peter Simpson, BSc Eng Hons (Chem), MIMM, C.ENG.

Peter has over 25 years of experience in minerals processing, providing him with immense knowledge of the mining and minerals industry, and in particular the unique challenges of working in Africa. He complements Kevin?s creative and research skills with his ability to develop spreadsheet-based optimisation routines ranging from reagent suite selection to circuit layout optimisation. Peter is Knelson's Technical Manager for Africa, and has travelled extensively within and outside of the continent. He is able to provide process expertise from initial flowsheet assessment and amenability testing through predictive modeling and flowsheet development on all mineral extractive processes, with a strong bias towards gravity concentration.
