Gravity concentration is our forte for good reason. It’s far less expensive, more environmentally friendly and safer than other processes. Most of all, gravity concentration makes sense. When applied in conjunction with other processes, the use of gravity concentration almost always results in higher returns.

With machinery from Knelson Gravity Solutions — the acknowledged world leader in enhanced gravity recovery equipment — we are able to offer the world’s best gold concentrators while also broadening our solutions beyond gold. Our two laboratories are equipped with the latest Knelson products, including KC-CVD Continuous Variable Discharge technology that was developed specifically for enhanced gravity separation of non-precious metals and minerals.

The combination of Knelson equipment and Peacocke & Simpson expertise allows our recovery efforts to extend to platinum group elements, base metals, industrial minerals such as chromite, tantalite and wolfram,  and even gold- and base-metal sulfides.

In addition to semi-batch and continuous gravity recovery, we use all common processes of extractive metallurgical testwork, including pulp or heap leaching and flotation, and some not-so-common processes such as pressure attrition leaching, and hybrid gravity recovery/heap leaching.

While we strive to avoid or minimize chemistry, when it’s necessary we do what must be done. That means we will undertake leaching, flotation or other process tests, either independently, in comparison with gravity recovery, or as a peripheral or downstream process with gravity recovery. We also afford our clients traditional gravity methods such as spirals, shaking tables and mineral jigs.
